Honmachi Church was established in 1922 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023.
There are 130 Protestant churches in Kyoto, but Honmachi Church is only Protestant church in Higashiyama Area.
We are moving forward as a church open to the community.
It is also a tourist coming and gathering Worship.
I pray the Lord Jesus Christ will touch people’s hearts and that it will be as a church were people can encounter God’s Love and Hope.
・Sunday Worship Service 10:30am～12:00pm
・Bible study and prayer meeting ：Wednesday 10:30am～12:00pm
・Nazarene Kids is currently recess.
◆Transportation
1. Get off at Keihan Shichjo Station, 5 minutes on foot.( Keihan Train)
From JR Kyoto station, take bus 206 or 208, Get off at Shichjo Keihan bus stop.
2. 15 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station. (Straight east)
